The change in Vaz Te

Ricardo Vaz Te

Since West Ham United got promoted back to the Premier League, I have been a big critic of Ricardo Vaz Te and his laclustre performances.

However, I’m also a big enough person to say that I have been impressed with his change in attitude since his return to the first team following his hissy fit on Transfer Deadline Week, whereby he handed in a transfer request.

Some supporters will quickly point out that Big Sam was playing Vaz out of position last seasonm, putting him on the wing instead of through the middle. Some supporters will say that no matter where a player plays, he should be glad he’s in the team. Whatever has happened to Vaz, his whole attitude towards the team, has changed. He works hard for the team, works for 90 minutes, does his defensive duties and looks a threat in attack.

I’m actually gutted that he’s going to be injured for 3 months now with a dislocated shoulder, it seems that West Ham are cursed when it comes to long term injuries! I never thought I’d say this, but hurry back Vaz!

COME ON YOU IRONS!!
