Lucas Perez’s move to West Ham to bolster Manuel Pellegrini’s striking options has been on the cards for days now and it has felt like a case of when and not if the Spaniard would make the move from north to east London.
While official confirmation from either the Hammers or the Gunners has not yet been forthcoming, Jack Wilshere has jumped the gun and effectively revealed the transfer has taken place already.
Posting on his Instagram story, Wilshere has uploaded footage of his former Gunners team-mate in West Ham colours, and it looks as if the duo have been swiftly reunited.

After an exciting summer of activity at the London Stadium, Pellegrini has moved to replace the outgoing Jordan Hugill – who ended his doomed Hammers spell with a loan move to his hometown club Middlesbrough yesterday – with Perez.
